Lavenham townscapes and architecture: Little Hall, now a museum, was a house built in the 14th century, enlarged in the 16th century, and eventually housed several families. Restored in the 1920s by the Gayer-Anderson twin brothers, in 1975 it was given to the Suffolk Preservation Trust. See history and program at http://www.littlehall.org.uk/littlehall/index.htm. It is the oldest house in Lavenham.
