Cliff formations in the vast Wadi Haynun, near the UNESCO "Land of Frankincense" preservation area, Dhofar, Oman. The wadi does not fill. A row of ancient headstones can be seen along the cliff on the other side of the wadi. It is empty, abandoned, featureless, dry. In ancient times it was a busy trading route.
