Sumhuram, details of ashlar masonry walls (1st century BC) of the entrance to the ancient city. Carved inscription in ancient South Arabian language, covered by a protective transparent plastic ( Lucite?) shield. Sumhuram, was an outpost of the pre-Islamic kingdom of Hadramawt on the southern coast of the Arabian Peninsula, now in the Dhofar region of Oman. The language of the inscription is yet untranslated.
