Oman: Al Hamra mud brick village, some structures still occupied; one man strides down the village street

Oman, mud brick village of Al Hamra, largely abandoned. Though some structures still endure, and show some basic maintenance, little restoration seems to be attempted. Here a man wearing white dishdasha and red cap strides, arms swinging, down a street under a heavy electrical wire. Bright midday sun casts heavy shadows.
