The two-masted sailboat, the traditional Egyptian felucca, is being used for freight -- a load of stone blocks (granite? marble?) One crew member stands at the rudder while the other jumps off the bow into the water, holding the rope for tying it up. Masts, sails, and jumper are all reflected in the still river water.
